Web server

If you plan to write a dedicated Java client application to access your beans and don't want to provide access through a Web browser, you can skip this section.

If you are not writing a dedicated Java client, you will need to install a Web server and a JSP/Servlet server. Most of the modern operating systems provide a HTTP server. We suggest that you use the open-source and widely used Apache Web Server.

If you use the Apache Web server, you should download the combined JOnAS and Tomcat JSP/Servlet server package.
